Chelsea Nichols, of Bartlett, and Kelsey Mundhenke, of O’Neill, taught a class on nutrition and healthy eating recently to approximately 40 fourth grade students at Washington Elementary School in Norfolk.

  • UNMC Paves Smoother Path For Transition To Bachelor’s Degree In Nursing

    by jenniferg  1/21/2015 1:51:30 PM --  In an effort to increase the number of registered nurses in Nebraska with bachelor’s degrees, the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing will provide early, guaranteed admission in the registered nurse (RN) to the bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) program for qualified students enrolled in associate degree nursing (ADN) programs at the six community colleges in the state, including Northeast Community College.

  • Northeast Hosts Nurse Pinning Ceremony

    by jamesc  5/23/2014 11:01:16 AM --  NORFOLK - Associate degree nursing and practical nursing students received their nursing pins in a special ceremony Thursday evening at Northeast Community College in Norfolk. In addition to the Pinning Ceremony, two associate degree nursing and two practical nursing student were presented the Essence of Nursing Award for their consistent academic effort, caring actions, positive motivation toward classroom learning and clinical experience, and professional behaviors.
