Students were installed into Northeast’s Phi Theta Kappa, (PTK), Tau Chi chapter during the spring 2015 induction ceremony held in the Lifelong Learning Center.

The Hawks earned second place in Overall Team Sweepstakes, Division II, at the Fifth Annual Junior Varsity National Tournament in Hutchinson, KS.

  • Forbes Elected New SGA President at Northeast

Corby Forbes, of Brunswick, has been elected president while Erika Rupprecht, of Clarkson, is the new vice president. Kirsten Cattell, of Plainview, will serve as secretary.

  • Northeast Livestock Judging Team Member Places at Sioux Empire Show

Tim Kummer, of Columbus, finished eighth out of 95 contestants in beef cattle judging in the Livestock Judging Contest at the Sioux Empire Farm Show in Sioux Falls, SD.

  • Hawks Defeat Iowa Western; Svehla Gets 500th

With the Hawks 55-53 win over #8 Iowa Western Community College here Saturday, the Northeast Community College coach picked up his 500th career win. The Reivers (21-2) defeated the Hawks last month in Council Bluffs, IA, 65-64.

  • Nebraska Farm Bureau Honored at Northeast Ag Conference

    by jamesc  12/15/2014 11:06:14 AM --  NORFOLK – Nebraska’s largest, voluntary agricultural organization, lobbying on behalf of farmers and farming communities, was recognized at the recent AG-ceptional Women’s Conference at Northeast Community College here. The Nebraska Farm Bureau Federation was presented with the Conference’s Award of Merit at the College’s Lifelong Learning Center. Deanna Karmazin, executive director of the Nebraska Farm Bureau’s Foundation, accepted the award.

  • Northeast Honors Employees with US Bank Awards
