  • Nipp named new Northeast vice president

  • Risinger Green joins Northeast

    by jamesc  6/24/2016 8:57:30 AM --  NORFOLK – Susan Risinger Green has joined Northeast Community College to serve as the campaign coordinator for its proposed Agriculture, Water and Energy Center of Excellence. She joins the College after more than 27 years at WJAG, Lite Rock 97.5 and 106KIX Radio in Norfolk, where she served as assistant news director and farm director.

  • Northeast hosts basketball camps

Boys and girls in grades 3-12 took part in skills and position and shooting camps, and a four-on-four league over the past two weeks.

  • Northeast instructor becomes Certified Loss Control Professional

Kory Hildebrand, job training and safety instructor at Northeast, has met the requirements to become a Certified Loss Control Professional.

  • Northeast's Helena Acre partnership kicks off planting season

After several rain delays, a team consisting of Helena representatives and Northeast Agriculture faculty and administrators were eager to begin work on the 40A field at Northeast’s College Farm as part of the Helena Acre partnership.

On Tuesday of this week, Northeast Community College joined electric utilities across the nation to thank the men and women who make sure the power stays on 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

  • Northeast students place third at NACTA Conference

    by jamesc  4/19/2016 1:57:15 PM --  CROOKSTON, MN – Northeast Community College students finished in third place in sweepstakes for two-year colleges at the 2016 North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA) Judging Conference held at the University of Minnesota – Crookston. Northeast was one of 12 community colleges and 19 university teams to compete in the April 14-16 conference.

  • Documentary directed by Northeast instructor to be screened at Omaha festival

    by jamesc  2/26/2016 9:19:54 AM --  NORFOLK - When Voices Meet, an award-winning documentary feature film directed by an instructor at Northeast Community College will be one of only six documentaries to be shown at the upcoming Omaha Film Festival. Nancy Sutton Smith teaches digital cinema and mass media at Northeast and is also the advisor for the college newspaper, The Viewpoint.
