  • New global business class at Northeast offers immersive experience

The course, Global Business: A Partnership with Denmark, explores global business in collaboration with Northeast and Aarhus Business College in Aarhus, Denmark.

The Northeast Community College Holiday Concert, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Sunday, December 3, at 2 p.m. in the Lifelong Learning Center on the Norfolk campus.

  • Northeast volleyball ends season at NJCAA national tournament

    by amandab  11/20/2017 8:00:21 AM --  CHARLESTON, WV - The Northeast Community College volleyball ended its season here Friday at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II National Tournament. The #12 Hawks defeated #13 Carl Sandburg College (IL) (28-25, 25-20, 25-19) in their first consolation match and advanced to face #8 Central Community College. The Hawks fell to Central in five sets (25-21, 17-25, 17-20, 25-15, 8-15).

    WAUSA, NE – The sounds of saws, hammers, cans of spray paint and laughter filled the wood shop at Wausa High School here recently. Those who were there worked to transform a device, normally used to move goods and containers, into works of art.

    CHARLESTON, WV - The Northeast Community College volleyball team’s upset effort fell short yesterday in the first round of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II National Tournament. The #12 Hawks fell to #5 Sauk Valley Community College (IL) in five sets (21-25, 26-24, 26-24, 22-25, 13-15).

  • Uhing named 2017 Northeast distinguished alumnus

Richard “Dick” Uhing was honored for outstanding career achievement recently with the NCCA’s Northeast Community College Area Distinguished Alumni Award during the organization’s annual meeting here.

  • Northeast men defeat Morningside JV, 91-54

    by amandab  11/14/2017 8:41:22 AM --  NORFOLK, NE - The Northeast men’s basketball team got back on the winning track last night in their defeat of Morningside College JV. The Hawks bested the Mustangs 91-54 to move their record to 4-2 on the season.
