    NORFOLK, NE – Northeast Community College has named a new director of athletics. Kurt Kohler comes to Northeast from Fort Hays State University in Kansas, where he has served as head volleyball coach for the past nine seasons.

They are among 5,300 students nationally to be recognized for achievement in the classroom during the 2016-17 academic year.

    AMES, IA – Several members of Northeast Community College’s athletic teams have earned post season academic honors. The twenty-three student-athletes have been named to the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Spring 2017 All-Region Academic Teams. Northeast is one of 14-members of the ICCAC.

    NORFOLK, NE – The Northeast Community College men’s soccer team has signed two recruits from Norfolk and Columbus. Trent Jorgensen, Norfolk Catholic, and Anthony Kosh, Scotus Central Catholic in Columbus, will play for the Hawks next fall, according to Doug Seigle, Northeast coach.

    NORFOLK - The Northeast Community College men’s soccer team has landed a recruit from Nebraska City to play for the Hawks this fall. Derek Riege, of Nebraska City High School, will join the Hawks’ soccer lineup in the fall, said Northeast Coach Doug Seigle.

    NORFOLK – Several members of Northeast Community College’s basketball, softball, soccer and volleyball teams have earned academic honors for their work in the classroom. The thirty-two student-athletes have been named to Fall 2015 National Junior College Athletic Association Region XI Academic All-Region Teams. Northeast is a member of the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.
