    by amandab  1/13/2017 9:10:57 AM --  NORFOLK - Northeast Community College was spotlighted recently on a nationally syndicated agriculture radio show. “AgriTalk,” a live, syndicated radio program that focuses on agriculture and rural America, broadcasted live on Wednesday from the Northeast Nebraska Farm and Equipment Show held at the Chuck M. Pohlman Agriculture Complex on the campus of Northeast Community College.

    NORFOLK - A Northeast Community College instructor has published a new textbook on veterinary technology. Joshua M. Schlote, LVT, has co-authored “Diagnostic Imaging for Veterinary Technicians” with Margi Sirois, EdD, MS, RVT, CVT, LAT.

The middle school students, participants in the school district’s Aftershock after school program, have had the chance to take part in career exploration camps at Northeast Community College.

    NORFOLK – Students in the audio recording technology department at Northeast Community College are providing their own version of holiday cheer this season. They are in the process of selling an album of holiday musical selections performed by local and area artists.

  • GMOs to be discussed at Northeast Food for Thought Forum

    NORFOLK – Northeast Community College will sponsor a forum prior to the upcoming AG-ceptional Women's Conference. Matt Dolch, of Syngenta, will speak on genetically modified organisms in his talk, “The Truth About GMOs,” on Thursday, November 17, at 7 p.m. in the Cox Activities Center on the Northeast campus in Norfolk. It is free and open to the public.

  • It's that time of year

    Krystal Spanopoulas, Long Island, NY, gives a flu vaccination to Northeast Community College student, Bridgette Jackson, Tobias, in the College’s Student Center. Spanopoulas was one of thirteen first-year nursing students who participated in the program recently to offer flu shots to all Northeast students, faculty and staff, 19-years of age and older.
