  • Northeast to host MFG Day event

    by jamesc  9/27/2016 12:18:04 PM --  NORFOLK – Northeast Community College will host an event that showcases the many prospects available in the manufacturing industry. Activities as part of Manufacturing (MFG) Day will be held on Thursday, October 6, in the Applied Technology building on the Northeast campus in Norfolk. Manufacturing program labs at Northeast will be open from 4 to 8 p.m., with college students operating nearly all technologies in the department.

  • Northeast's Steuter takes medalist honors at I-81 Classic

    by amandab  9/27/2016 10:35:56 AM --  YORK - Northeast Community College’s Cody Steuter claimed medalist honors at the I-81 Classic held at the York Country Club yesterday. Steuter shot a two-day total of 155. Central Community College’s Matt Hansen took second with a 161, and Northeast’s Jamy McCoy finished three strokes back to tie for third.

  • Northeast women's soccer falls to Scott CC in OT

    by amandab  9/26/2016 9:01:46 AM --  BETTENDORF, IA - A very brief overtime period decided the game for the Northeast Community College women's soccer team and Scott Community College here Saturday. Northeast lost the game 1-0. About three minutes into overtime of the scoreless game, Scott fired a corner kick that went directly into the goal untouched.

Registration is currently underway for the day-long conference to be held on Friday, November 18, in the Lifelong Learning Center on the Northeast campus in Norfolk.

Director of Theatre Adam Peterson will travel to Omaha later this month on behalf of the KCACTF to observe the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO)’s production of “Shakespeare’s Dog” and offer feedback to their students.
