Liz Doerr was honored as the AG-ceptional Woman of the Year at the 9th Annual Northeast Community College AG-ceptional Women’s Conference on Friday at the Lifelong Learning Center here.

  • Anderson presented Governor's Award

Steve Anderson, of Concord, was presented with the NCCA’s 2017 Governor’s Award during the NCCA’s annual meeting recently in McCook. The award is presented annually to one board member from five of the state’s community college areas.

    NORFOLK, NE – A Neligh man has been named the newest member of the Northeast Community College Board of Governors. The board voted unanimously at its monthly meeting Thursday to appoint Delbert Ames as the new District I representative.

The Adult Education Open House will be held Thursday, October 12, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Northeast’s South Sioux City extended campus, 1001 College Way.

    NORFOLK, NE – Northeast Community College has named a new director of athletics. Kurt Kohler comes to Northeast from Fort Hays State University in Kansas, where he has served as head volleyball coach for the past nine seasons.

    NORFOLK, NE – Several area students who have yet to graduate high school are already considered college students. “You’re college students now,” said Lyle Kathol, vice president of educational services at Northeast Community College, as he spoke recently to approximately 70 seniors from 16 high schools who are enrolled in the College’s Fridays @ Northeast program.

The blood drive will be held by LifeServe Blood Center at the Northeast Community College extended campus, 1001 College Way in South Sioux City, on Monday, September 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
