    NORFOLK, NE – Northeast Community College has named a new director of athletics. Kurt Kohler comes to Northeast from Fort Hays State University in Kansas, where he has served as head volleyball coach for the past nine seasons.

    NORFOLK, NE – Several area students who have yet to graduate high school are already considered college students. “You’re college students now,” said Lyle Kathol, vice president of educational services at Northeast Community College, as he spoke recently to approximately 70 seniors from 16 high schools who are enrolled in the College’s Fridays @ Northeast program.

The Northeast Community College Spring 2017 Crime Scene Contest consisted of eleven teams of three to five students each. Teams from Northeast Community College and Wayne State College competed.

  • Candidates announced for 44th commencement at Northeast

    NORFOLK – The 44th Commencement of Northeast Community College will take place on Saturday, May 13, at 10 a.m. in the Cox Activities Center on the Norfolk campus. As of Monday, April 24, some 871 students, including those earning more than one degree, and 220 who completed their studies this past summer and fall, were to be listed in the commencement program.
