Diesel technology students from Northeast Community College were among the attendees at a training conducted by the Nebraska State Patrol and the Nebraska Trucking Association recently.
The workshop “How to Pass a DOT Level I Inspection” was presented at the Peterbilt of Norfolk Service Center. Two State Patrol Carrier Enforcement troopers demonstrated how they conduct safety inspections on big rigs to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition. The session was attended by diesel technicians, students, truck owners, drivers, fleet managers and safety directors. (Courtesy Peterbilt).
