Indian Hills is ranked first in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I poll and is currently the only undefeated team in the country.
Northeast came out and played a strong first half, trailing the Warriors only 28-23 at halftime. However, Indian Hills pulled away late in the second half for the win.
Allen Anderson led the Hawks with 17 points, four steals and three rebounds. Steve Wooten recorded 13 points and nine rebounds, while Jaquan Sanders added 12 points, six rebounds and two steals.
Northeast (13-15) will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Columbus to take on Central Community College at 7:30 p.m., following the women's game at 5:30 p.m.
