NORFOLK, NE - The Northeast Community College volleyball team is now 14-12 after downing North Platte Community College here last night in four close sets (26-24, 23-25, 25-23, 25-22).
Monique Schafer led Northeast in kills with 16, while Samantha Brester totaled 13; Taylor Lammers, 12; Macy Stewart, ten. Schafer put up two solo blocks, and Peyton Roach had two ace serves. Schafer tallied 38 digs; Roach, 25; Stewart, 20. Savannah Nelson recorded 52 assists.
The Hawks are back in action tonight when they host Ellsworth Community College at 7 p.m. at the Cox Activities Center on the Norfolk campus.
