Norel was a two-year team captain for Basketball Academy Zwolle. The team played in the highest division and won the regular season championship.
“Brechte is a solid forward, and will be a good fit for how we play,” Svehla said. “She brings mobility at the four position, and she is very unselfish. She will do whatever needs to be done and is the ultimate team player.”
The Hawks’ season is set to begin November 1.
