Graphic Design students show off their work

NORFOLK, NE - Tamber Hingst, Emerson, a graphic design student at Northeast Community College, shows some of her work during the program’s “Portfolio Show” recently at the Lifelong Learning Center on the Northeast campus in Norfolk.

“The Portfolio Show gives graphic design students who are about to graduate, a chance to present their work and hone their communications skills in preparation for job interviews,” said Jeanette Johnson, publications coordinator in Northeast’s marketing department and adjunct instructor. “In addition to creating a portfolio, these students developed personal resumes, cover letters, and business cards, as well as the promotional materials for the show.” Phil Schimonitz serves as the College’s graphic design instructor.
