NORFOLK, NE - Chima Moneke continues to pursue his dream in the United States. The Australia native and former Northeast Community College student-athlete is turning heads as a key player for the University of California-Davis men's basketball team.
He led the Aggies with 18-points to defeat North Carolina Central 67-63 Wednesday in a First Four game as part of the NCAA Division I basketball tournament. UC Davis now faces #1 seed Kansas in Tulsa on Friday.
Moneke’s story was featured this week in his hometown newspaper, the Canberra Times.
