Those enrolling in Northeast’s associate of arts degree with a concentration in Human Services will prepare for a satisfying career helping others. The associate of arts program includes extensive study in the social sciences. Faculty members teaching courses that will be transferred to four-year institutions are credentialed with master’s degrees.

Students enrolled in this program will receive a foundation of knowledge and skills to understand and meet human needs in a variety of occupations. Employees in human services occupations facilitate overall improvement in the quality of life for a diverse population. The associate of arts degree program in human service will prepare students for entry-level employment or transfer to a four-year college or university.
