Advanced Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) TIG

The Gas Tungsten Arc Welding lecture/lab course is designed to teach students about arc welding safety and Gas Tungsten Arc welding process (GTAW-TIG) and power techniques for welding. Initials Painting

Create an acrylic on canvas image of a chosen initial or favorite letter. With the initial being the subject of your painting, you will also learn about and choose from various background designs including chevron, smooth color gradient, textured blending and more. Manufacturing Machinery and Equipment Seminar

This class will cover, in detail, the sales tax exemption for purchases of equipment used in the manufacturing process. Parts and repair labor for MME is included in this topic. Discussion will include qualifying manufacturing operations and which equipment qualifies for the exemption. A portion of the session will be dedicated to contractors who annex or install MME, or perform repairs on MME. Instructors will help participants complete tax returns for a variety of scenarios. This session will benefit anyone operating a manufacturing facility or anyone who provides equipment, parts, or repairs to manufacturing operations. 3 hours of CPE Credit available. This course will be offered via distance learning technology from Norfolk to Hartington, O'Neill, and West Point.

Medication Aide

This course is designed to prepare the student to meet the requirements of the Medication Aide Act and the responsibilities of the medication aide in an assisted living facility and/or nursing facility. This course includes information regarding medication administration, pharmacology, rules and regulations, classification of drugs, orders, storage, abbreviations and an overview of commonly used drugs and documentation. Upon completion of this course, the student is eligible to take the state administered written exam. Motorcycle Rider Course

The Motorcycle Rider Course (MRC) is a 15-hour course which includes 5 hours of classroom instruction and 10 hours of riding instruction. The course begins with the basics of turning, shifting, and braking and then moves onto the advanced skills and strategies for street riding. Professionally trained instructors teach in the classroom and then coach riders in a controlled riding area. Within 30 days of course completion, participants are required to take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic eCourse. Professional Truck Driver Training

The training program is an intensive course. The students will go for night drives and long runs during the course. This entails gone for a week, overnights and 14-hour days. Students will learn to operate articulated vehicles in a training environment that includes driving on city streets, two-lane, and interstate highways. The program includes 240 contact hours, 44+ hours of behind the wheel training and 190 hours of classroom, lab, and observation.
