    COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Twenty-one Northeast Community College student-athletes have earned academic honors through the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). They are among 5,300 students nationally to be recognized for achievement in the classroom during the 2016-17 academic year.

    AMES, IA – Several members of Northeast Community College’s athletic teams have earned post season academic honors. The twenty-three student-athletes have been named to the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Spring 2017 All-Region Academic Teams. Northeast is one of 14-members of the ICCAC.

    BOONE, IA - The Northeast Community College softball team ended their season here yesterday on the second day of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XI-A tournament. The Hawks won their second round game against North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC), 15-2, then fell to Iowa Central Community College in the third round, 11-10.
