Head Coach Chad MillerChad Miller is beginning his second year as the women’s head soccer coach. Last year was the start of the first ever women’s soccer program at Northeast Community College. In their inaugural year of soccer, the team finished with 4 wins, 10 losses, and 4 ties, with 7 of those losses by 1 goal. The team produced five all-region players along with 12 players Academic all-region.

The team looks to build on last year and continue to develop a program of success on the field and in the classroom. After serving as the Northeast men’s soccer head coach for the 2015-16 season, Miller gave up the reins of the men’s program to start the women’s program at Northeast.

In his year as the men’s coach, Miller guided the Hawks to a record of 3 wins and 14 losses, but produced four all-region players. Prior to coaching for Northeast, Miller coached in the high school ranks. He served as the head coach for the Lutheran High Northeast/Norfolk Catholic girls soccer team for five years. In addition to that post, he has also coached club teams in the Norfolk area. He also holds a coaching diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

He achieved his Associate of Applied Technology degree in the area of Information Technology from Northeast. Miller also played soccer for two years in college.

Miller and his wife, Amy, have three children, Taylor, Maci, and Charlie.
